Our coaching staff are all experts in their chosen field and have all completed their Working with Children Check and coaching credentials.
Our qualifications reflect the various styles offered accreditation being obtained under various governing bodies including Gymnastics Australia/Victoria and International All-Star Federation (IASF).
IASF Coaching Certification Level 2
Lauren started dance at the age of 5 and continued for over 20 years. Lauren has danced in many performances including the AFL Grand Final, Melbourne Grand Prix and Rock Eisteddfod in which her school placed 2nd. She is married and a mum of two girls who both enjoy dance and cheerleading. Lauren enjoys working with children of all ages and promotes a safe, encouraging and fun training environment. Lauren currently competes in the Adult Pom and Adult Hip Hop Teams.
Lauren has a Bachelor of Business (Human Resource Management).
IASF Coaching Certification Level 4, Gymnastics for All Intermediate Coach (Gymnastics Australia)
Rebecca had danced jazz and contemporary for 20 years before stepping into the cheer and gymnastics world. Her love of performance has lead to national and international performance gymnastics opportunities including representing Australia in Norway at the 2017 World Gym for Life challenge as a part of the Gymnastics NSW Performance Team.
Rebecca loves coaching athletes of all ages and enjoys passing on her love of cheer to her students. She is passionate about creating a safe and relaxed atmosphere in the gym where fun, fitness and friendship are essential. She has been coaching for the past 3 years including running a cheer and gymnastics club in NSW before moving to Melbourne in 2018. She is an accredited USASF Cheerleading coach and Gymnastics for All coach with Gymnastics Australia. Rebecca also competes on the Adult Pom and Adult Hip Hop Team.
Rebecca has completed a Bachelor of Arts, Cert III Administration and Cert IV Bookkeeping.
IASF Coaching Certification Level 4, Certificate 3 & 4 in Fitness, Intermediate WAG.
Argine has been dancing since the age of 4 and has trained in Tap, Ballet, Jazz. Ballroom and Cheerleading. Argine comes from an experienced cheerleading background and still competes herself. She enjoys working with children of all ages to develop their skills in a safe and fun environment. Argine is keen on nutrition and positive body image. She obtained the Master Trainer and Energizer awards during her studies at the Australian Institute of Fitness. Argine currently competes on an IOC6 Cheer team.
Argine is currently completing a Bachelor of Education (Primary Studies).
IASF Accredited Coach
Alex started his passion doing recreational dance and gymnastics since the age of 5. In 2015 Alex joined the world of cheer when looking for a new change. Since then Alex has been in all levels, notably 4.2 in 2018 winning both nationals and grand champions as well as being on an IOC6 team. Due to an injury Alex took a year off and has rejoined the cheer world taking it easy on level 3 while he recovers. Alex is also on the Deakin Cheer and Dance Committee and coaches their Level 1 and 3/4 teams as well as tumble.
Alex has completed a Diploma of Nursing and is currently studying a Bachelor of Science majoring in Human and Animal Biology.
IASF Coaching Certification Level 2
Oliver has been cheering for 3 years and fell in love with it almost instantly. He loves to perform to a crowd and is always pushing himself to achieve new skills so that he can show them to his friends and family. His love for cheerleading is what lead him to becoming a coach, wanting to share his love for the sport with others. He most recently competed on a 4.2 team, wining both national and grand champions with them.
Oliver is currently competing on an IOC6 cheer team and has won a bid to Worlds in 2020.
Oliver is also currently studying a Bachelor of Business with a major in Accounting at Swinburne University.
Shoshana has been doing cheerleading for 5 years! After learning all about the beautiful sport Shoshana started coaching so she could spread her love for cheer and skill development to kids of all ages!
Shoshana is a dedicated coach who is always thinking of new ways she can change things up and teach something new! She has coached teams to victory and even went to the US for a month and learnt new fun ways to build cheer foundations. After a 5 year winning streak Shoshana hopes to continue her journey through the new year.
Shoshana is also a lover of water and is a qualified swimming coach and diver. She is also studying event management at Swinburne university.
Matthew started in cheer in 2017 and fell in love right away. He loves the rush of performing and learning new skills which saw him win a 4.2 national grand championship in 2018. His love for the sport saw him become a coach as well his desire to share with others, what cheer means to him.
Matthew also coaches senior womens football at Brunswick City.
